Area and Division International Speech Contests

Local clubs host club, area, and division speech contests. One contestant is chosen at the Spring conference to represent District 21 at the semi-finals and finals every year during the International Convention in August.

District 21 Annual Conference

District 21 includes clubs on Vancouver Island, the Fraser Valley, and southern B.C.  and hosts an annual Spring conference.

There will be memorable education sessions where you will laugh, learn, and grow. You will meet old friends and make new ones, and enjoy speakers from around the province as they compete in the International Speech contests.

International Convention

We are holding our annual Toastmasters International Convention this year on-line. This event showcases the best of Toastmasters and for the first time is FREE! All you need to input is your time.

Pathways Educational Experience

To offer members improved opportunities to learn and to grow, Toastmasters International introduced a new education program and learning management system in 2018.

The Toastmasters Pathways learning experience represents a paradigm shift in how members can interact with the education program because they will have a choice.

The education materials that support the program will be available both in print and online. However, the online experience will be richer with the availability of video, tutorials, interactivity, and online tracking.

The Toastmasters International educational program offers eleven paths to suit your personal interests and goals.

  • Dynamic Leadership
  • Effective Coaching
  • Innovative Planning
  • Leadership Development
  • Motivational Strategies
